Signature Series Drumsticks

Each Vic Firth Signature Series model was conceived through extensive research with the finest drummers from a variety of musical styles. The designs reflect their musical requirements in terms of balance, feel, sound projection and cymbal color. All colored sticks feature a clear, natural tip. All sticks are hickory unless otherwise noted.

Harvey Mason (HM)
A versatile stick that covers a wide dynamic range. Round tip produces clean, crisp cymbal sounds.

Jojo Mayer (SJM)
Swiss drummer Jojo Mayer pioneered and leads the recent trend of live breakbeat drumming with his band NERVE. Jojo's design is a 5A style stick, but with thicker and shorter dimensions. It provides a big feel and full sound without a lot of length.

Nicko McBrain (SNM)
Known as the drummer for heavy metal band Iron Maiden, Nicko
designed a stick which features a 5B shaft with a beefed up neck and
tip. A medium sized stick that produces plenty of sound.

Stanton Moore (SSM)
A slightly elongated tear drop tip that creates a great cymbal sound.

Rod Morgenstein (SRM)
Combines a 5B and a 2B. Full shoulder for endurance.

Vinnie Paul (SVP)
Heavy metal drummer and producer Vinnie Paul is most known for his
work with Pantera and Damageplan. With a full sized shaft and an
enlarged tear drop tip, this stick is built for power!

Buddy Rich (SBR, SBRN)
A modified 5A with a larger tip, neck and shoulder.

Tony Royster Jr. (STR)
Barrel tip for sensitive drum and cymbal sounds. A great choice for jazz, rock, latin and funk.

Steve Smith (SSS)
Elongated tip with a long shoulder and short taper. Provides the feel of a 5A with the beef of a 5B.

Mike Terrana (SMT)
Produces a big sound, even at breathtaking speed. With a barrel tip for clear and concise cymbal sound.

Charlie Watts (SCW)
The man who provides the subtle groove behind arguably the world's most influential rock band, British drummer Charlie Watts has used this stick or many years while recording and touring with the Rolling Stones. Charlie's stick has an elongated oval tip for dark cymbal sounds. A big sound without a lot of weight.

Dave Weckl Original (SDW, SDWN)
Barrel tip for broad cymbal sound. Fast, with great leverage. Available in wood or nylon tip.

Dave Weckl Evolution (SDW2, SDW2N)
A short tear drop tip on a 5A shaft. Provides superior cymbal definition with excellent rebound.

An enlarged SD4 with a barrel tip for great tone while grooving on the cymbals and hi-hat.
