Corpsmaster® Snare Sticks

Field tested and field proven, the superior designs of the Corpsmaster® line developed throughout years of collaboration with the world's finest drum and bugle corps. Each season since the products were introduced, Corpsmaster® sticks and mallets have remained the most popular choice among the top high school bands, indoor percussion ensembles and DCI Championship corps.

The Corpsmaster® Signature marching snare sticks feature designs which reflect the musical requirements of each artistin terms of balance, feel and sound projection. All models are turned in hickory for strength and power with the exception of the MS4 which is crafted in Sta-Pac® for maximum weight.

MS1
Full oval tip and short taper bring out the dark sounds on drums and cymbals.

Tom Aungst (STA)
A long, "reverse tear drop" tip and moderately long taper. Rebounds with ease and creates a bold sound.

Scott Johnson (SSJ)
A medium taper and full round tip enhance the colors that are possible on Kevlar® heads.

Scott Johnson "ScoJo" Practice Stick (SSJ3)
Combines a rubber tip design and a special taper to simulate the authentic feel of the Scott Johnson Marching Snare stick. Great For practice, or for creating unique sound color possibilities on the drum. In hickory.

Thom Hannum Original (STH)
A round tip with a very long taper and thick neck for great control and response, especially at low dynamic levels.

Jeff Queen (SJQ)
Jeff's new signature stick has full round tip for consistent sound quality regardless of the angle of approach. The long taper and reduced neck size produce excellent speed. A slight taper toward the rounded butt end improves “back-sticking” control and sound quality.
