Part 8 - Finishing and Logo Stamping

All clear finished sticks are processed by tumble finishing. The sticks are placed into large hexagonal tumblers. Small wooden balls are added to the tumblers to carry the finish to the tapered part of the sticks.

At this point, each stick is again inspected for any and all possible defects. Sticks that meet the Vic Firth standard are then loaded onto a conveyor. The logo is applied by a pad printer.
