Dan Britt Presents Clinic in NYC

On Friday, August 21st, Dan Britt presented a clinic with Jeff Indyke at the 48th Street Midtown Manhattan Sam Ash. Fellow Vic Firth artist Swiss Chris (Gloria Gaynor, John Legend) made an appearance as did a mix of New York and New Jersey drummers.

Dan spoke about some of the history of drumming and the advent of groundbreaking products/books/groups in the 1930’s; explained his process of learning hand techniques and stick tricks & applying left hand techniques to grooves; played two solos; and engaged the crowd with his fun “Name that Tune/Beat” game
