Vic Firth Education Team Member Bart Robley's "The School of Hard Rocks" instructional video has been selected by The Telly Awards and their Silver Telly Council to receive a 2009 Telly Award.


Robley and director of photography, Trey Solberg crafted the video as an accompaniment to “The School Of Hard Rocks” book. Both are available on Centerstream Publishing, distributed by Hal Leonard. Robley demonstrates many of the rudiments that form the basis for his stage and studio work. In this two-DVD set, he takes viewers from the basics, through more advanced exercises.
