The North Alabama Percussion Festival was hosted by Vic Firth Educator Mr. Clay Sloan---Assistant Director of Bands at Austin High School in Decatur, AL. The event was held on April 27th with more than 90 percussion students in attendance.

Highlights of this year's event included a concert by the University of North Alabama Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Iain Moyer. Additionally, two special clinic sessions were led by Thom Hannum & Colin McNutt.
