About DCM...
Drum Circle Music (DCM) training programs include fun-filled days that are packed with tools, techniques, and activities you can use right away. They are a unique and intensive learning experience that will leave you saying "I can do this!"

Professional Training
DCM is a multiple-discipline approach to group and personal empowerment that uses music, movement, process and program design elements. DCM training provides you with knowledge, skills, techniques, activities, and concepts that makes it easy to design and present programs for a variety of populations and occasions.

A Holistic Approach
DCM addresses the whole person from the inside-out. Training begins with intuitive and inclusive activities that build skills through a process of emersion and processing where everyone can fully participate right from the start. Activities are often transferred between music, movement, speech and visual arts. Kinesthetic experiences are developed through group discussion and journaling. DCM is a true mind/body program that transfers into all areas of life.

A Complete Curriculum
DCM training and certification is an education along the lines of taking a college-level course. Students learn and develop all aspects of DCM from the physical to the philosophical, and they learn how to embrace their sillyness while walking a sacred path.

A Unique Training
All programs are taught by Kalani, a professional percussionist, Certified Orff-Schulwerk practitioner, and Master Facilitator. An education in DCM includes Drum Circle Facilitation, Drumming, Music, Movement, and Community Building. It's like several training program rolled into one. There's nothing else like it
