Heritage Hands Ottawa performs at Festival International de Percussion
On Saturday July 16th the Heritage Hands Ottawa Drum Club made it's long anticipated appearance at the Festival International de Percussion (FIP) in Longueuil Québec (on Montréal's South Shore). Performing in the heat and humidity that have marked this summer in Eastern Canada the group put on an energetic 30 minute plus show before an appreciative audience that grew steadily as the evening progressed. The group finished it's set to shouts of "bravo" and "encore" and performed it's opener of the Latin flavoured "Mozambique" for a second time. Organizers immediately invited the Club back for next years event!
