New York, NY- The American Fork High School Band performed at the 2007 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this past week in New York City. The American Fork drumline is under the direction of Mr. Mike Huestis. The American Fork Band performed a Latin-Jazz tune, composed by Mr. John Meehan, which featured the drumline and a full battery of Brazilian percussion instruments. Over 3.5 million people packed the streets of New York City to watch this years' parade, and another estimated 20 million tuned in at home. American Fork is proud to be associated with Dynasty Drums, Vic Firth Sticks and Mallets, and Evans Drumheads. Mike Huestis and the drumline would like to thank all of the people who helped make the trip possible.
