On Oct. 27th at Arvada H.S. in Arvada Colorado, the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble, based out of Denver CO, hosted their first ever Pre-Season Clinic. Bill Bachman was the featured clinician of the event, delivering a clinic about “quad drumming” and the importance of becoming a well rounded percusssionist. Bill astounded the audience with his skills on both the tenor drums and drumset. The clinic was the kick off to the Blue Knights 2008 season auditions which were held the following weekend. The clinic was a huge sucess, gathering about 125 percussionst from all ages and skill levels from around the Denver area. The Blue Knights hope to make this clinic an annual event and wish to bring a plethora of quality percussionists in for this clinic day for years to come. The Blue Knights greatly appreciates the support of Vic Firth and all the contributing companies for this event.
