The Azle High School Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Darrin Duff has been chosen to perform at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention. Percussion ensembles from around the nation annually apply for this prestigious performance opportunity. Azle was selected by submitting a CD of recordings from recent concerts. A panel of judges selected three outstanding high school percussion ensembles to each perform a fifty minute showcase concert at PASIC. The 2007 convention will be held in Columbus, Ohio from October 31st through November 3rd. The Azle Percussion Ensemble will perform on Thursday morning, November 1 at 9am.
