Victor Mendoza Video Interview

Considered by critics around the world to be one of today’s finest Latin jazz artists, Mexican-born vibraphonist and composer Victor Mendoza’s career includes performances with his own group and as guest soloist around the globe. As a professor at the Berklee College of Music, Victor has earned an international reputation as a jazz educator, regularly conducting master classes at major music schools and universities around the world.

In our spotlight on one of Latin jazz's most outstanding performers and educators, you'll have the opportunity to watch Victor in action, listen to a few cuts from his latest CD and discover what went into the design of his Vic Firth signature vibraphone mallets.

Tom Float Video Interview

Recently inducted into the D.C.I. Hall of Fame, Tom Float is probably most remembered for his 1982-1990 drumlines at the Blue Devils, where he won 4 consecutive percussion titles (1983, 84, 85, & 86). In our video interview series, Tom reminisces on his playing and teaching experience, from marching in his first drum & baton corps to developing the 'grid' at the Blue Devils.
