Mark Wessels' Rudimental Technique
     Exercise #4: Extended Doubles

Play this exercise with your hands on your legs (without the sticks), or with sticks on a pillow. Start as slow as necessary to produce quality double strokes on each hand (where every stroke sounds exactly the same), then gradually increase the tempo, using a relaxed wrist and finger motion for the second note of each double.
