The following is a selection of mallets that will
provide the student will an expanded variety of sounds on the marimba:

Medium. An all-purpose marimba mallet that works well throughout the full range
of the instrument. From the Virtuoso
Series features
a rubber core wrapped with a wool blend yarn and birch shafts with a unique “slip-resistant” finish
for excellent feel and control. |

From the Ensemble
Series. Crafted with a 1¼” rubber
core and a latex covering, the combination of components generates
a full-bodied sound and a rich fundamental. Slightly more articulation
than a yarn wrapped mallet, but without loosing the fundamental. |

Soft. Creates a beautiful singing sound in the low register. |
|
 |
|
Hard. Produces superb articulation
and a projecting sound in the top half of the instrument. |

|
Holds 24 pairs of sticks and mallets
and contains two small accessory pockets. Four outside
pockets include one large enough for sheet music. Also
features a detachable, padded shoulder strap and elastic
fasteners with retractable clips for secure suspension
from the floor tom. Water resistant leather-like vinyl
with double stitching throughout. A heavy duty zipper
holds it all together!
