To master this lesson, you must:

At 90 bpm and 140 bpm, practice the "8 on a hand" exercise everyday (at least 30 seconds at each tempo)

At 90 bpm, practice the "16th Note Timing" exercise everyday for at least 30 seconds

At 96 bpm, practice the single stroke roll everyday for at least 30 seconds

At 70 bpm, practice the Single Stroke 4 and Single Stroke 7 RUDIMENTS everyday for at least 30 seconds

At 102 bpm, practice the double stroke RUDIMENTS and "Isolated Double Stroke" exercise everyday for at least 30 seconds
    (Rudiment combination exercise: 5/9/13/double stroke roll)

At 140 bpm, practice the multiple bounce and flam RUDIMENTS, "Bucks in Three", "Alternating Accent" exercise and Single Paradiddle everyday for at least 30 seconds
    (Rudiments: Multiple Bounce Roll, "buzz 5/9/13", Alternating Flam, Flam Tap, Flam Paradiddle/Step One)

Practice the "Extended Doubles" exercise (no sticks, hands on leg) for 1 minute – as fast and as loud as possible!

Perfectly play the Duet (page 26) with the accompaniment CD track

Perfectly play Key Exercises, Appendix Lines (page 62) and Playing Exercises (page 27) while tapping the foot and counting out loud with these accompaniment CD tracks:  |  Key Exercises  |  Appendix Lines  |  Playing Exercises  |

Perfectly play the Rudimental Etude #8 (line #7, page 27) at 90 bpm, using double stroke rolls AND multiple bounce rolls
