To master this lesson, you must:

Practice the "8 on a hand" exercise everyday for at least 2 minutes at the following tempos:
    Day 1: at 120 bpm    •    Day 2: at 140 bpm   •    Day 3: at 160 bpm   •   Day 4: at 180 bpm

Practice the "Single Stroke Roll" and "Double Stroke Roll" everyday at 90 bpm (double time) for at least 2 minutes
    (Click HERE to play along with a track from the accompaniment CD to make your practice time more fun!)

Practice each "Stick Control" exercise SEPARATELY using perfect rebound strokes for at least 1 minute at the following tempos:
    Day 1: at 120 bpm    •    Day 2: at 140 bpm   •    Day 3: at 160 bpm   •   Day 4: at 180 bpm

Play through ALL TEN stick control exercises without stopping each day at the tempos listed above.
    (To test your skills, try playing along with THIS TRACK from the accompaniment CD!)

Define from memory the following musical terms and symbols:
    Staff, Bar Line, Measure, Double Bar Line, Quarter Note & Rest, Time Signature
