To master this lesson, you must:

At 90 bpm and 120 bpm, practice the "8 on a hand" exercise everyday (at least 30 seconds at each tempo)

At 160 bpm, practice the single and double stroke RUDIMENTS, and "Isolated Double Stroke" exercise everyday for at least 30 seconds
    (Rudiments: Single Stroke Roll, Single Stroke 4, Double Stroke Roll, 5 Stroke Roll and 9 Stroke Roll)

At 180 bpm, practice the multiple bounce RUDIMENTS, "Mr. Freeze" exercise and Single Paradiddle everyday for at least 30 seconds
    (Rudiments: Multiple Bounce Roll, "buzz 5" and "buzz 9")

Practice the double stroke exercise (no stick, hand on leg) for 1 minute per hand – as fast and as loud as possible!

Perfectly play the Coordination Exercise (page 14) at 160 bpm (per 8th note)

Perfectly play Key Exercises A–C, Appendix Lines 1-5 (page 57), and Playing Exercises 1 & 2 (page 14) while tapping the foot and counting out loud with these accompaniment CD tracks:  |  Key Exercises, Lines 1 & 2  |  Appendix Lines  |

Perfectly play Key Exercises D–F (page 14), Appendix Lines 6–14 (page 57, 58), Playing Exercises 3–9 (page 15) while tapping the foot and counting out loud with these accompaniment CD tracks:  |  Key Exercises  |  Appendix Lines  |  Playing Exercises  |

Perfectly play the Rudimental Etude #2 (line #10, page 15) at 80 bpm, using double stroke AND multiple bounce rolls
