CHRIS COLEMAN

A 1999 graduate with honors from the Drummer's Collective, Chris Coleman won the 2001 National Drum Competition sponsored by Guitar Center, which hosted over 30,000 competing musicians. From GC's high profile launching pad, Chris has become an in-demand sessions artist, having toured extensively with Creflo Dollar Ministries and Israel Houghton, and can be heard on many gospel recordings, including titles from Bishop Eddie Long and William Murphy Ministries, among others.

In 2003, Chris became a rhythmical force behind the explosive praise and worship group "Israel and New Breed" and performed on Israel's Billboard hit CD and DVD releases "Live From Another Level".

Recently, Coleman has reached mainstream audiences with his performances with R&B artist Rachelle Ferrell and is currently touring with Chaka Khan, as well as with his own band "The Paradigm".

In addition to a hefty clinic schedule, Chris has participated in the 2005 and 2006 "Drummers 4 Jesus" events. Chris' instructional DVD entitled "Dynamic Drumming Vol. 3; Playing with Precision and Power" was recently released through DrumWorks Inc.
