Sergio Bellotti moved from the south of Italy to the USA in 1995 and was immediately very active in the music scene of Boston. Today, he is a worldwide clinician/performer, having recorded and/or shared the stage with Mike Stern, Wayne Krantz, Tom Scott, Bob James, Robben Ford, Nathan East and Dan Siegel among others. He currently plays with fusion ensemble Spajazzy and co-leads a Duo with Percussion Virtuoso and Remo Signature Artist Alessandra Belloni.

Sergio performs weekly with WeJazzUp! as well as with many others local musicians and visiting artists.

Sergio is the co-founder of the successful "Ponte "Usa program with Franco Rossi from the Accademia di Musica Moderna in Italy and collaborates with other top institutions such as Gm Drum School in Torino and the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, Switzerland.

While Sergio travels routinely to those institutions for master classes and clinics, It also allows international students to travel to Boston for an all inclusive package of lessons/practice time and “life on the scene “ with jam sessions etc.

Sergio has taught drum set at Berklee College of Music since 2002. He writes for Drum Club magazine in Italy, and, as a worldwide clinician, has performed at the Montreal Drum Fest '03 (now available on DVD), Cape Breton International Drum Fest 2004, 2005 and 2006, Berklee World Percussion Festival '05 and PAS '05 and '09 in the USA and PAS 06 in Italy.
