Josh Davidson

Being a finalist in the 2011 Roland V-Drum National Championship

I rode to the show with Tony Royster Jr. and the eventual winner J.P. Bouvet. Tony joked about playing Madison Square Garden with Jay-Z in a couple days...I was just proud to be a finalist and fly out to Vegas and stay in the Hard Rock! I played a 5-minute solo in front of Thomas Lang, Chad Wackerman, Tony Royster Jr., and John Tempesta from White Zombie!!! After the show was over a few of these guys came over and told me I was going to be great. Roland Corp still keeps in contact with me and I hope to be in the finals again this year. This has to be the moment when my dreams collided with reality.

Great Story!
I think this one is a winner!

Thank You for Sharing YOUR
Game-Changing Moments!

In celebration of Vic Firth Company's 50th anniversary, we've spent an entire year celebrating Game-Changing Moments in drumming -- including yours! To everyone who shared a story with us this year, thank you! Drumming is a shared experience and we are all brothers and sisters! Your stories have inspired us to continue making the best sticks possible and to continue changing the game for drummers everywhere.

Congratulations

We received thousands of amazing stories this year. Although it was difficult to choose only one story, we're happy to announce that Joe Russomano is our grand prize winner in the Game-Changing Moments contest!
